Cirque du monde - Circus Show

4 Thursday at 7 P.M - as an opener for Les 7 doigts de la main!
The young people from Pop’s have been trained by the Cirque du Monde and now offer us a show of their making. Les 7 doigts de la main have invited them to rehearsals for their show PSY, to chat about the art and trade of the circus. Now, together, they will experience État d’Urgence’s opening show! A stimulating experience for all, with plenty of butterflies in the stomach to go around! Cirque du Monde Montréal is a social circus project based on a pedagogical approach that combines circus arts with social intervention, enabling youth to empower themselves through the creative process!

7 Doigts de la Main

4 Thursday at 7:15 P.M.

Montreal circus collective Les 7 Doigts de la main teams up with ATSA and presents a series of numbers drawn from their shows.

A twist on the expression “like the five fingers of the hand”, the troupe’s name also evokes the close link uniting the distinct parts of a whole, a link that enables them to move in harmony to achieve a common goal. The company’s seven co-founders (Isabelle Chassé, Shana Carroll, Patrick Léonard, Faon Shane, Gypsy Snider, Sébastien Soldevila and Samuel Tétreault) thus combine their individual personalities, talents and experiences to reach a shared artistic goal, with all the dexterity and charming awkwardness one might expect from a seven-fingered hand.
