Mise au jeu - Operation Coleus Cloning

7 Time subject to change.
Mise au jeu’s Mains tendues project gets citizens to participate in saving coleuses in order to beautify their gardens and home interiors. Just like some homeless people, these plants are often abandoned. They suffer from the cold and eventually die, in our gardens. Downtown residents and institutions have donated their plants for an unusual cloning experiment. Coleus cuttings in recycled pots are available at the État d’Urgence site, an act of resilience by the Mains tendues team.

Le Parcours Party

5 Thursday from 3 to 4:30 P.M.
The Groupe d’Intervention Alternative par les Pairs has as its mission to prevent the transmission of HIV, STIs, BTIs and hepatitis C, and to reduce the harm done by drug use and injection, and the lifestyle of street youth in downtown Montreal.

The Parcours Party is an activity based on a harm reduction approach to drug use. It simulates the pattern of drug use by youth in a party situation and uses questions to test their knowledge of drug use facts. It also broaches the topic of sexual practices during such parties.
