CTQ | EVENTS IN REGINA AND CALGARY

After the virtual launch of the Cuisine ton Quartier dans l'Ouest podcast, it's finally time to hang up our signs!

If you're in the Regina area, join us at the Assemblée Communautaire Fransaskoise on March 6 at noon for a panel unveiling

and mediation activity!

During this walk, you'll learn more about the work of the Assemblée Communautaire Fransaskoise and Saskatchewan's francophone newcomers. The francophone population has been established in the province for 300 years. "Saskatchewan's francophone community, also known as Fransaskoisie, comprises nearly 2% of the provincial population, although 5% of the Saskatchewan population reported being able to express themselves in both French and English in the 2016 census."

If you're more in the Calgary area, we'll be at La Cité des Rocheuses on March 8 at 6:30pm!

During this walk, you'll learn more about newcomers to Alberta and their life paths. Francophonie has been in the region since the late 18th century. You'll also be able to visit this francophone community center, which organizes cultural and artistic events for Calgary's francophone community (including concerts, cinema and comedy).
